Chamber Choir

Chamber Choir is made up of  12-20 singers with advanced vocal ability representing all other vocal ensembles at Bradley Central High School. Chamber Choir members must be enrolled in one of the other auditioned groups and dedicated to rehearse after school during the semester. This vocal group will focus on a cappella music from an array of styles and periods including: Classical, Folk, Madrigals, and Spirituals.

Concert Choir

The Bradley Central High School Concert Choir is an auditioned vocal group that performs a variety of musical styles at numerous venues through the school year. The goal is for the ensemble to be made up of approximately 48-50 vocalists in grades 9-12. Ideally the choir will be made up of  12 sopranos, 12 altos, 12 tenors, 12 basses. The vocal ensemble sings a cappella vocal arrangements in madrigal and spiritual styles, classical vocal literature in Italian, French, German, Latin, and pop musical selections. The ensemble performs locally at nursing homes, schools, civic group meetings, and in two-three formal concerts during the year. The Concert Choir meets daily during first period.

Maximum Velocity Prep Show Choir

Prep Show Choir is an auditioned group of approximately 40 members in grades 9-12. Prep Show Choir performs throughout the school year. The purpose of the group is to help prepare students for Varsity Show Choir (e.g.CENRTrifugAL Motion ). Students will learn fundamental dance steps, stage presence, posture, and correct singing. Maximum Velocity members are auditioning all year long for advancement into the Varsity Show Choir. Students that demonstrate a high level of dedication, desire, and ability will be considered for advancement. Maximum Velocity meets daily during second period.

Centrifugal Motion Varsity Show Choir

Centrifugal Motion is the Varsity Show Choir. It is an auditioned group of approximately 20 singers. Students must first participate in Prep Show Choir (e.g. Maximum Velocity) at Bradley Central High School. If a student has transferred to Bradley Central High School he/she must have participated in a show choir at their previous school. Students will be selected based upon their vocal tone, stage presence, facial expression, attitude, and dancing abilities during their rehearsals and performances in their previous show choir. Meets during 3rd period.
