The Cleveland/ Bradley Keep America System is an affiliate of the Keep America beautiful, Inc., a national non-profit public education organization dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and environment of America and improving waste handling practices at the community level.

History

The Keep America Beautiful, Incorporated was established in 1953 and is a national organization with five hundred-sixteen affiliates, in forty-one states of the United States, Bahamas, Canada, Puerto Rico and South Africa. In 2003, the keep America Beautiful organization celebrated its 50th anniversary.

At present, the state of Tennessee has twenty-six certified affiliates, one pre-certified affiliate and one state affiliate. This organization is a national, non-profit public education organization, dedicated to implementing a behaviorally-based systematic approach to prevent littering and improving waste handling practices in American Communities.

The Cleveland/ Bradley Keep America Beautiful System, Inc. was incorporated in Tennessee in November 1991, as a certified affiliate of the national organization. We have qualified and been approved as a 501c3 charitable entity by the Internal Revenue Service, thereby making contributions to our local organization taxable. As a 501c3 corporation, we do not take any political stance on any issues. We address issues only, not politics.
