The Land of the Freshmen

Here at Bradley, there is a "sacred oasis" for Freshmen. It is called Freshmen Academy. Freshmen Academy was added to Bradley's system in 2008. Instead of just shoving Freshmen into the High School environment, the Freshmen are kept in a single Hall for the whole year so that they can grow accustomed to High School.

Freshmen Academy is very different from High School. Rather than work with Juniors and Seniors that might happened to have been in their class, the Freshmen get to work right beside all of their other Freshmen friends. This way Freshmen are not intimidateted by all of the older students who might try to hang out with them.

One thing to note about Freshmen Academy is this. Freshmen are with Freshmen and everyone else is integrated. By segregating the Freshmen from the rest of the school it creates a whole new environment for them. They may get advantages for that year, but remember that once they become Sophomores things will become very different.
